Staff was very friendly and helpful. Facilities were decent and the pool area was okay. Good stay for the price.
Cozy bed, friendly people.
Clumps of hair in pool, ew. Torn bedspread.
It was close to my business appointment and was only in room to sleep.
I didn't like the cobwebs on ceiling and corners of room.
Staff was very helpful and very knowledgable of the area with great recommendations of restaurants
I slept through the night without getting woke up, which isn't usually the case. It was clean, nice breakfast and the staff was most helpful. I had an issue with the TV and they came to fix it in 5 minutes. Very good!!
Location, price, staff effort.
Pitted sink, dirty rugs, old travel lodge needing help. The bed was so bad, husband switched to hideabed, clerk responded with , why didn't u ask to be moved? I figured it would all be the same, hotel was empty and I thought they would certainly be giving me a good room.
Friendly staff, quiet inside, barely knew the street was near, lovely pool and exercise area, comfortable beds
Can't really think of anything.
The staff treated us like family and very pleasant to be with
Room was clean and comfortable.
Lousy nights sleep. Went to bed at 10, then the upstairs people started jumping running and pounding noisily late into the night. Finally after a couple of hours of thinking they would stop (about midnight) my husband stood on the bed and pounded loudly on the ceiling, they finally quieted down after that. Night was pretty much ruined at that point. Hallway had a nasty smell, like B. O.
The beds were comfy and the room was clean for the most part. The room was mostly renovated but still had an old tv which we don't really care about, and old dingy couch and old chair at the new desk.
We had no bad experience. The place just still needs a bit of updating.
Staff was polite and courteous, location was perfect
Carpets were old and very musty. Hallways had an old, smoky smell. Mattress was old and broken-down. Lots of cosmetic damages.
Room appliances were useful and the quietness for sleep was nice.
Not the greatest shower curtains cause there like cloth material and the water from the shower flood the floor of of the bathroom causing you to use most of your towels just to clean it up. Also I had little ants around bathroom floor & around counter top of sink.
I especially like the close proximity to Pacific University (dropped my daughter off). And the price was good too.
Only downfall is that you can hear when the guests above you open/close their door.
We selected this hotel based on its low rate (at least 30%+ cheaper than other alternatives in the area) and convenient location -- and we set our expectations accordingly. This was simply a "crash pad" for us for the night, and for that, it was fine. The decor was dated and worn, but the bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, the shower was "old school" (meaning great water pressure and lots of hot water!) and we both got a good night's sleep. We would stay there again.
Cons: The facilities are in need of updating, so the hotel has an overall well-worn feeling to it...both inside and out.
